Whilst Gillian Robespierre’s utterly excellent Obvious Child (2014) doesn’t explicitly feature visible body hair it earns an honourable mention for being bloody brilliant and for three direct references to corporeal fuzz: namely, merkins, a fuller bush and Jenny Slate’s leg shaving scene which may, sadly, continue the trend of onscreen depilation shaving already hairless legs.

This though does not take away from its wonder!
